Morpheus & The Megaflora
a few lines on synesthesia
'Morpheus' I have called you for long
for my synesthesia of you and dreaming
between the soft mulberry lacquered walls
where my son drifts away each and every night
and the amethyst wine stain flashed on clouds
spilled in every summer by midnight lightening
lavender is now heavy on junetime's warm winds
lowering the blooming lilacs to the footpaths
am I dreaming a sweet hibiscus day dream
or lost in the megaflora that is the season?
do not wake me and wake me not, please
I've found my resting place in the sweetgrass
wake me not and do not wake me, please
I know the footpath leads to the auburn fall
Kurosawa spoke sibyllic of these many violet things
that I should miss them even before they're gone-Johnny, Under Sky
Dear reader,
This is just one of my word / concept-color associations. I wonder: what are yours?

A certain creamy orangy-peach in the sunset always reminds me of those nasty “circus peanut” candies, which I associate with a cloyingly sweet, bananaish aroma and flavor
Lovely imagery! Can smell it!
