I have spent a few days in the garden and was lovely maybe the key is just in doses when the creativity takes you, agree being controlled by the algorithm is a creativity killer!
Finally responding to folks so they’re not just talking to the void! Yea, the algorithm has really had me down lately. I’ve got a lot of stuff to do in irl now that the weather is nice while also taking the time to work on some long form.
Hey Johnny, I’m not a poet, so I can’t really say anything big, but I think even the time when you can’t write is still part of creating. It’s not just time where nothing is happening, it might be a different kind of process?
Hey Keiichiro! Sorry for the delay here, just getting back to comments. You’re totally right about the time spent not writing still being a part of being creative. Like you said, just a different kind or different part of the process. I found myself using the last two weeks to work on some long form pieces - one of which is quite long. Sometimes creativity isn’t what you think it is!
